With the most 5-star reviews on Tripadvisor, check out what Sailors are loving about sailing aboard our lady ships. Virgin Voyages' ships do not have self-service laundry rooms. However, passengers can send clothing out for pressing, washing and folding, or washing and pressing. Individual items cost $4 each for press only, $5 each for wash and fold, and $6 each for wash and press. Then there's "Lola's Library," a cabaret-style variety show created by Ceilings Entertainment, which runs the Mayfair Supper Club at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Join sexy librarian Lola, her assistant Dewey and cleaning lady Mary, who keep the library open after hours for some off-color fun while they try to foil a book bandit who keeps stealing tomes.

Outside Training camp is a boxing ring, props for alfresco body weight exercises, a sports court for basketball and an adult playground with swings and a seesaw. Above on Deck 17 is a jogging track and a space for outdoor yoga. Back on Deck 15 by the wellness pool is another open-air workout space – especially good for show-offs since everyone lounging in that area can watch you sweat. If you're catching some rays and don't want to give up your spot in the sun for lunch, The Sun Club Café is an easy pool deck grab-and-go option for anyone who likes poke bowls. While practically no one uses the daybed layout, the arrangement means you're sleeping on a couch cushion rather than a plush mattress.

Anyone looking for the best Virgin Voyages cruise itinerary will want to start with its sailings to the Bahamas and Caribbean. The diversity was evident with and felt by the passengers and crew, and it seemed everyone was simply happy to be together at sea. I miss Valiant Lady and her crew and hope to sail with Virgin Voyages again soon.
Cruise Line Offers Free Parking for Passengers at One Homeport
The cruise itself was ok and the service was alright. The ports were lack luster , excursions limited. The dinning availability was awful. Eating dinner at 10pm is NOT ENJOYABLE.The icing on the cake was when we were at their "private" Beach club in Bimini and due to their neglect of pathways, my toe was broken. NOT ONCE did anyone inquire if I was ok after I was in Medical and xray .We disembarked the next day and as they hurled us off for the next group of victims,I was never offered a wheelchair or help getting through disembarkation !!!!

Virgin Voyages clearly has spent a lot of time rethinking what a cruise can be, and it has come up with some wonderful new ways of doing things. The line has described the show as "a hype music video disguised as an absurdist style dance party," and that pretty much sums it up. The late-night spicy ramen, social atmosphere and fun ports more than made up for any hiccups. For us, it was like a four-day long party without the hangover.

Scarlet Lady itineraries and pricing
Resilient Lady, the third ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, debuted in May 2023, and it's a doozy — in a good way. With nearly all-new entertainment and an adults-only vibe that's equal parts nostalgic, stylish and engaging, the ship offers a lot for fun-loving adults. Be sure to bring something red for Scarlet Night, whether that's a red dress, shirt or accessory. (Consider a red swimsuit if you intend to end the party in the pool.) Other themed nights include a pajama party and an '80s bash, so pack accordingly.
Virgin Voyages has partnered with experts in the mixology business to create some of the best bars at sea, with menus to match. When you open the door to your room, the system is alerted to turn on certain lights and even to open the curtains at certain times of the day. I never did figure out how to set all of that, though, and I often found the curtains opening when I didn't want them to. Drawers and shelving were available in the closet, too, but a couple of storage baskets — which I found to be an odd choice — took up some of the space.
What saved the cabin was its balcony, or terrace as Virgin calls it. Food ranged from edible to excellent, but meals were always fun. I felt like I was eating out in a city, rather than at a hotel conference center, and that night-out vibe set the mood for the entire evening. I'm a Broadway buff, and I always go to the cruise ship shows. Unless they're a real Broadway show (found on the likes of NCL or Royal Caribbean), I'm usually walking out or picking them apart before they end. The public spaces on the ship invite you to grab a friend, a drink and chill for a while.
I called customer service and now they are refusing to honor their agreement and give me a refund. I have writing that I’m due this refund but I will need to take legal action. Gratuities are included in the cruise fare for a Virgin Voyages vacation, which includes tips on drink orders. A gratuity for your therapist after a spa treatment is encouraged but discretionary.
That means you won't see a daily service charge on your onboard bill, nor should you have to feel you need to tip the crew extra unless someone has truly gone above and beyond. Starting in December, the ship will reposition to Australia, offering two- to 14-night voyages from Sydney throughout Australia and New Zealand. Prices for those cruises start at $120 per person, per night for an inside cabin.
After its initial summer cruising in the Mediterranean, the vessel will reposition to Australia in December for a series of 11 sailings ranging from five to 14 nights. The Croatian coast-focused itinerary, called Adriatic Sea and Greek Gems, also includes several late-night stops. The ship stays in Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia until 9 p.m. As with Virgin's Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries, its Mediterranean itineraries are specifically designed for fun-seeking travelers looking for a late-night experience.
Considering the booking window opens 45 days before the sailing date, and that passengers in the know set their alarms to begin booking as soon as the app launches, this first access alone can be worth its weight. Given that the ship was basically built for social media, Virgin was smart to make WiFi available and free to all guests. Premium and higher-speed WiFi packages are also available for a fee.
The woman next to me ordered a steak, which arrived in a reasonable amount of time. When another woman at a nearby table saw it show up, she walked over to ask how it was. She said she had ordered her steak more than 40 minutes prior and still hadn't received it. She was so angry that, not long after she returned to her table, she and her companion got up and left without eating. It's difficult to make sense of what's happening throughout the ship each day without investing significant time into using the cruise line's app.
